Bear In Heaven surprised fans across the world with their cover of Lindstrøm & Christabelle's "Lovesick" last Fall --- like a jet airplane taking off on stage, the urgency of their rendition sped the pulse of the already warmed-up crowd, breathless from Bear In Heaven's performances of "You Do You", "Lovesick Teenagers", and the rest of their legendary set built from their album Beast Rest Forth Mouth. But that was only half the story.

Mutual fans, Bear In Heaven and Oslo's Lindstrøm met last year and quickly found their way into each other's minds (and studios). Lindstrøm began an epically beautiful remix of "Lovesick Teenagers" while Bear In Heaven adopted the similarly-named "Lovesick" (from Lindstrom & Christabelle's album Real Life Is No Cool) and shaped it in their own image. These little homages resulted in two amazing songs, perfectly built for a 12" single. The plan was set.

The Bear In Heaven/Lindstrøm split 12" was released on Record Store Day, April 16, 2011. Hometapes is offering a limited quantity via mailorder. The 45RPM 12" is packaged in a full-color printed die-cut jacket featuring design by Oslo-based visual artist Snasen. With both music and packaging made by friends spread across the globe, this is a must-have souvenir of a brilliant collaboration.
