For the second installment of their three EP series, and the follow up to Absolute Noon, the Feathers boys (Eddie, Matt, and Eric) worked in their Miami studio (Comic Wow) and fleshed out the beginnings of what would eventually become Synchromy. They then packed up and went to Chicago again to collaborate with John McEntire at his Soma Electronic Music Studios. Working with a handful of talented musicians (John, Mikael Jorgenson, Zack Brock, Tom Wright, and Nick Photinos), Feathers have created an even wider sound than was evident on Absolute Noon.

From what we were told, Feathers decided to focus on quack medicine, magic, mock horror, the Bible, spirituality, the moon, snakes, great egomaniacs, paradise, and the idea of taking real drugs. Umm...ok.

If I had as many ideas in a lifetime as are present on this record in under twenty minutes, I'd be a professional sportscaster.

Once again, typeStereo takes care of things on the design front with more eye-popping letterpressed bright pink!
